How to Attach a Council Shoulder Emblem
- 1). Wash, dry and iron the uniform shirt. Lay the shirt right side out on a firm, flat surface with the left sleeve facing up. Smooth away wrinkles from the upper sleeve and shoulder area.
- 2). Find the shape of the council shoulder emblem on the Badge Magic adhesive sheet. Peel away the paper from the front of the badge shape to expose the adhesive.
- 3). Carefully place the council shoulder emblem right side up over the exposed adhesive. Press the patch firmly in place, paying special attention to the edges.
- 4). Peel the council shoulder emblem away from the sheet. Hold the patch by the edges only. Carefully fold stray bits of adhesive to the back of the patch, if necessary.
- 5). Position the patch, right side up, centered on the left sleeve just below the shoulder seam. Press the patch firmly in place, paying special attention to the edges.
- 6). Turn the shirt wrong side out and lay it on a firm, flat surface with the left sleeve facing up. Press firmly against the back of the patch through the fabric, paying special attention to the edges. Rub the bowl of a teaspoon firmly across the back of the patch in a circular motion to ensure a strong bond.
- 7). Turn the shirt right side out and wear.
