How to Dye PVC Without Harmful Chemicals
- 1). Fill container with hot water in multiples of 3 gallons.
- 2). Add 1/2 bottle of liquid fabric dye per every 3 gallons of hot water. Use gloves to protect skin from becoming stained with dye.
- 3). Submerge PVC into the dye. Stir the dye constantly to completely cover the PVC with fresh dye. Keep PVC in dye for a half hour or until desired color is achieved.
- 4). Rinse the PVC and allow to dry for 24 hours before use.
