For many of these crowded events, Marta is the way to go! Parking lots can be expensive and there's always a gridlock after the fireworks end. I will list the Marta stops for each event when available.

Lenox Mall

Lenox Mall is one of the most popular spots to watch fireworks in Atlanta each summer. With a convenient location, plenty of free parking, live music, and family games - there's a lot to love about this event. Not to mention the fact that they've got one of the largest fireworks displays in the Southeast! Live music from local bands begins at 6 p.m.

Centennial Olympic Park

The fireworks at Centennial Olympic Park, located in Atlanta's downtown entertainment district, is one of the best fireworks shows in Atlanta. It draws big crowds every year. Grab dinner before you head to the show at one of these downtown restaurants. Live music beginning at 6 p.m.

City of Decatur Fireworks

Celebrate the Fourth of July Decatur style! Gather in the Decatur Square for a fun fireworks show and live music in the bandstand. Start the evening with a family-friendly parade at 6 p.m. and music begins at 7 p.m. in the bandstand. Don't forget, Decatur is super walkable and home to some great restaurants and shops, so spend the day in the area!

Fireworks on the Marietta Square

There's something that feels a bit nostalgic about gathering with friends and family in the historic Marietta Square for a fireworks show. There's a parade in the morning, carnival games, and live music throughout the afternoon in Glover Park (the heart of the Marietta Square). Then, lay down a blanket and stake out a spot for the fireworks show!

The City of Alpharetta will put on their traditional Fourth of July fireworks show in Wills Park. The park will have free kid's activities like a bounce house, face painting and games. Food vendors (including some food trucks!) will be on-site. Live music and activities begin at 5:30 p.m.

July 3rd Celebration in Norcross

Here's a twist for you - fireworks on July 3rd! Norcross holds an annual pre-Fourth celebration (can you say fireworks two nights in a row?!). Live music and fireworks with picnics encouraged? Roswell Fireworks Celebration

City of Roswell is putting on a fireworks extravaganza at Roswell High School. The big fireworks show takes place at dark. Food from food trucks will be available. Please note that Roswell High School is a drug, alcohol and tobacco free zone. There will be no live music or carnival games this year.

Fourth of July at Stone Mountain

Stone Mountain Park makes for a perfect family-friendly Fourth of July! In addition to all the regular park activities (and there are lots!), the will have a special laser show July 3 - July 5, followed by a fireworks show each night. All you pay is the $10 parking fee (per car).
