Firework Fun for the Fourth

What is the Fourth of July without a great fireworks show? You've just got to see the sky lit up with color and join in as the crowd "oohs" and "ahhs." There are spectacular fireworks shows all around the Atlanta area. Find out where you can see fireworks this July 4th in Atlanta.

For many of these crowded events, Marta is the way to go! Parking lots can be expensive and there's always a gridlock after the fireworks end. I will list the Marta stops for each event when available.

Lenox Mall

Lenox Mall is one of the most popular spots to watch fireworks in Atlanta each summer. With a convenient location, plenty of free parking, live music, and family games - there's a lot to love about this event. Not to mention the fact that they've got one of the largest fireworks displays in the Southeast! Live music from local bands begins at 6 p.m.
Fireworks start at approximately 9:40
Marta Stop: Lenox (North-South Doraville line) or Buckhead (North-South North Springs line). Lenox is closer, but if you are coming from North Springs and don't want to switch trains, Buckhead is just a short walk.More »

Fireworks on the Marietta Square

There's something that feels a bit nostalgic about gathering with friends and family in the historic Marietta Square for a fireworks show. There's a parade in the morning, carnival games, and live music throughout the afternoon in Glover Park (the heart of the Marietta Square). Then, lay down a blanket and stake out a spot for the fireworks show!
