Engine and Transmission

• The KTM 380 SX had a 368 cc, liquid-cooled, single cylinder, two-stroke engine with a bore of 3.08 inches and a stroke of 3.03 inches. A 1.5-inch Keihin carburetor delivered the fuel-air mixture to the engine. The 380 SX had a kick starter. A five-speed transmission with a chain final drive transferred power from the engine to the rear wheel. he KTM used a wet, multi-disc clutch operated hydraulically.
  
  

Brakes and Suspension

• The 380 SX came equipped with a single 10.24-inch two-piston caliper front brake and a single 8.66-inch one-piston caliper rear disc brake. The off-road bike had an adjustable suspension, including dual rear shock absorbers.
  
  

Body

• The 380 SX had a chromium molybdenum frame with orange and black bodywork, a two-tone seat, black side panel and rear fender and an orange front fender. The bike came equipped with a side stand.

• The 380 SX came with a size 80/100-21 front tire and a size 110/90-19 rear tire. It had a 58.3-inch wheelbase, a ground clearance of 15.2 inches and a seat height of 36.4 inches.
