    Making Herbal Essence Oil

    • 1). Choose one of the following oils according to your needs:

      Extra-Virgin Olive: For massage, body, lubricating, foot, hair, or healing oils
      Grape Seed: For face, blemish control, and sensitive skin oils
      Jojoba: For body and bath oils

      And one or more of these herbs:

      Arnica: For massage, burns, bruises, and dry skin
      Calendula Flower: For scrapes, cuts, dry skin, dry feet, bathing, dry hair, and cracked skin
      Lobelia Flower: For skin diseases, eczema, blisters, rashes, bathing, and massage
      Chamomile flower: For bathing, body moisturizing, face, and massage
      Rose Geranium Flowers: For wrinkles, blemishes, and facial moisturizing
      Lavender: For bathing and massage
      Lemongrass: For bathing, massage, facial moisturizing, blemishes, and dry skin

    • 2). Combine 2 parts oil for every 1 part dried herb into one of your glass jars.
      For example, use 1 cup of dried herb with 2 cups of oil.

    • 3). Cover and place the jar in sunlight for two weeks.

    • 4). Shake your oil-herb mixture once a day.

    • 5). Strain your oil into another clean glass jar. Cover your herbal essence oil and store it indoors.
