The G2 driver, a golf club produced by PING, was the top-selling driver in the United States for eight straight months in 2005, according to the company. The G2 is no longer in production. - The G2 is a titanium-head club with a standard length of 45.75 inches. The weight of the club's head measures 193 grams, or just under seven ounces.
- The G2 comes with a standard head size of 460cc. PING also offered two smaller variations of the G2 with 400cc heads. The G2 club head has internal weighting, which reduces a ball's spin and launches it higher, according to Golf Review. The lie angle of the club is 58 degrees.
- The G2 came with four different loft options. The lowest loft is set at seven degrees, and the most severe loft angle is 11.5 degrees. PING also produced the club in 8.5 degrees and 10 degrees.
- Aside from the standard G2 driver and the two versions with smaller club heads, PING also produced the G2EZ and the G2L. The latter model was specifically made for women. These two clubs were designed for golfers with slower swing speeds.
