How to Convert DV-AVI to Xvid
- 1). Open your Web browser. Navigate to the HC Encoder website. Click the download link. Click "HC Encoder v0.23." Click "Download." Wait for the download to complete.
- 2). Right-click on the file. Click "Extract here. A folder called "HC023" will appear in the same location as the downloaded file.
- 3). Open the "HC023" folder. At the top of the HC Encoder application window, click "input file name." Locate and select your "DV AVI" file in the browser window. Click "Open."
- 4). Click "output file name" and select a name ending with ".xvid." Click "encode." Wait for the conversion to finish. Close the application.
