How to Change a Liftmaster Code
- 1). Enter the current keyless access code by pressing the corresponding numbers on the keypad.
- 2). Press and hold the "#" button until the safety light on the motor control unit blinks twice.
- 3). Create a new access code by pressing four buttons on the keypad then the "Enter" button. The code can not be fewer or more than four numbers.
- 4). Test the new code by entering it with the keypad. If the door does not operate, repeat Steps 1 through 3.
