Everyone has heard about Lasik eye Surgery.

In third and last step, the cornea flap is re-positioned.

Though Lasik surgery has a success rate of about 90 to 95 percent, but it is always good to check out the pros and cons of every technology before choosing that method.
Similar to other kinds of technology and surgeries, even Lasik has its advantages and disadvantages.
Pros of Lasik Eye Surgery: The best thing about this technology is the regaining good vision at a rapid pace.
It is painless and time-saving method which shows immediate results.
It is one-time procedure with least risks involved.
However, some risks are also involved in this method which should be known to the patients before opting to this method.
Cons of Lasik Eye Surgery: This surgery is very expensive.
Many health insurance providers do not offer coverage for this kind of surgery.
Apart from this, there can be some adverse repercussions of this surgery.
There can be dryness in eyes, over or under correction, hazy vision, scar in cornea, infection, being sensitive to light, red patches on the cornea etc.
Some people have to wear glasses even after surgery.
Double vision problems can arise, or problems related to flap can occur.
In addition, the potential patient also has to fulfill certain other conditions in order to be considered for the surgery.
The patient has to be 18 years or more, she should not be pregnant, and should not have certain health issues like diabetes, heart disease etc.
