How to Face Isolation With Activities
- 1). Create a daily schedule so that you stay active and avoid focusing on isolation or loneliness. Invent daily goals for your activities.
- 2). Write regularly to improve your mind's focus. Keep a journal or write letters to friends or family.
- 3). Fill empty hours with creative hobbies such as painting and drawing.
- 4). Plant a garden if you have enough space outdoors.
- 5). Exercise daily to improve your mood and stay in shape. Stretch your muscles before exercising and stay hydrated by drinking water.
- 6). Volunteer at a local hospital, soup kitchen or homeless shelter. Give your time to others if complete isolation does not prevent you.
- 7). Cook for yourself instead of ordering food. Avoid junk food, drugs and alcohol when isolation affects your mood negatively.
