This section contains detailed information on a range of chemicals and their potential effects on human health. These chemicals include Benzene, 1-Chloro-4-(trifluoromethyl)-, Crystalline Silica, 1,2,4-Trimethylbenzene and Titanium Dioxide.

    Benzene, 1-Chloro-4-(trifluoromethyl)-

    • Directly underneath the Repeated Dose Toxicity subsection is a subsection dedicated to Benzene, 1-Chloro-4-(trifluoromethyl)-, one of BASF automotive paint's main ingredients. Here, BASF notes that repeated exposure to this chemical may affect the liver and kidneys "as indicated in animal studies."

    Protection

    • This BASF document contains a modest amount of information on how the company deals with accidental leakages.
