Kindle My Experience
There are times that I feel that I have to write a letter about something important that has happened in my life.
Now is one of the times that I need to share the value of our latest purchase, with those of you online who are debating if buying a E-READER is worth the initial out lay of money.
We bought our Kindle before we went on vacation last month.
Initially we downloaded a few books that we wanted to take with us.
When we reached our vacation spot we decided that we wanted to try to have our favorite newspaper delivered to us daily by Kindle.
It was just unbelievable- not only were we able to get the paper but I also got a subscription to my favorite magazine.
Now we have all of the news (and/or gossip news ) at our fingertips at the pool or beach without the worry that the pages will get blown away.
My husband can read his favorite thriller at night when I am asleep, and since the Kindle 2 has a built in light he can read for hours without bothering me! and while he is watching sports on T.
V.
I can read my downloaded magazine.
When we packed up to go to the beach I only had to take one bag with me since the Kindle is thin and light weight.
What a pleasure.
After finishing my novel, I quickly picked my next read without leaving my beach lounger.
I have already planned how we are going to use our Kindle when we take our children on our next vacation.
With the kindle 2 there is no doubt that We will save time space and money.
and gain loads of comfort.
There is another reason why my husband loves the kindle - he is very green, and knowing that with the kindle we are also helping the planet (by reading without using more and more paper) gives his a lot of satisfaction.
I also think the kindle would be great for my kids in the future, as it is the are all about computers, so why not give then an electronic gadget that makes reading fun - it will be a chance to share my new device with our children.
I have a feeling that for my son's next birthday there may be a Kindle E-reader in the package next to the birthday cake.
All in all we are really thrilled that we decided to go electronic with our reading.
