How to Give the Expression of Praise
- 1). Read Biblical expressions of praise, such as those found in the book of Psalms. Learn the prayers of praise that David offers to God. Recite these Psalms daily.
- 2). Sing praises to God, as Psalm 104:33 says "I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live." Song is a beautiful expression of praise to the Creator. Use music to worship and honor God.
- 3). Profess the word of God publicly. In the Old Testament, the Hebrew Word "yadah" means to give thanks, but this word translates "to throw" or "to cast." Cast your nets and become a fisher of men, according to scripture. Spread the good news of Christ's love and declare your praise for God to all.
- 4). Thank the Lord for the many blessings he has bestowed upon you. Psalms 103:2 says, "Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits." Begin and end each day in prayers of thanksgiving, acknowledging the Lord for the talents and gifts He has given you. Also, use your talents for the good of the Lord.
