The Versatility of Rubbish Bins

Ever since man started walking on the face of the earth there has been a need for some sort of rubbish bins to collect all the discarded trash.
People used to collect all their trash into rubbish bins and then when it got full they would take it out back and either burn it or bury it.
With so much trash in the world this system just is not safe, convenient or sanitary.
Now there are waste management systems which pick up all our discarded trash and eliminate it in the most suitable way.
Each household has numerous trash cans and most have one in at least every room.
These trash containers come in a wide variety of styles and colors.
They are constructed to match virtually any kind of décor.
Despite their dirty job, they can be complimentary and a part of any room's decorations.
We would not even think about trying to operate a household or a business without enough rubbish bins to do the job correctly.
And to meet this need they come in a variety of sizes.
There are small 4 or 8 gallon units; as well as larger 13 and 32 gallon cans.
There are also specially sized liners, or trash bags that help keep the can clean and make it easy to carry the trash outside to dumpsters where waste management can carry it away.
But there are some other uses for these versatile objects.
They can be used to sort out all the different items for recycling.
Earth conscious individuals can use several different canisters to sort out aluminum and plastic items that can be recycled.
Some kinds of trash cans have nice fitting lids.
These are excellent sources to use for storage.
They are especially handy for keeping cat or dog food in.
They work so well because they can lock tight and keep out bugs and moisture.
Plastic trash cans that are no longer going to be useful can even be used for outdoor planters.
Drill a few holes in the underside to let the water drain out.
Then fill them with soil and plant greenery in it to your liking.
Smaller trash cans are great for taking out the garbage and keeping disease and pesky bugs away from the house.
In the early 1970's the trash compactor revolutionized the way individuals dispose of trash.
These electric trash crushers are space saving and can crush the garbage to help get more trash into one bag.
This lets more garbage be disposed of in a single bag.
Rubbish bins are versatile and have undergone much change since they were first invented.
