How to Make a Peapod Costume

1). Cut the sleeves off of the green sweatshirt.
2). Turn the armholes in and glue the edges to the material.
3). Glue the 5 foam balls down the middle of your 24 inch piece of square felt. Arrange the balls in whatever order you wish.
4). Fold the felt material together so that the material wraps around the foam balls, just like an open pea pod.
5). Glue the top and bottom edges of the felt piece together to hold the peapod in place.
6). Glue the peapod to the center of the sweat shirt.
7). Cut two leaves out of the second piece of felt.
8). Glue the leaves to the neckline of the sweatshirt.
9). Measure the width of your child's head.

Cut one of the sweatshirt sleeves for a cap applying the measurements of step 9.

Curl a green pipe cleaner and attach the pipe cleaner to the hat in order to make a stem.
