Will the United States of America see another Cold War in our lifetime?We very well could and this time it could be with China as they are quickly ramping up their military and the United States consumer is funding it.
Of course it will take years for them to catch up to our military superiority and yet China works on a long-term time schedule and they have all the time in the world.
In China's way of thinking 100 years is not a longtime and in the Western world's thinking it is an extremely long time, so long in fact that no one is worrying about it.
Nevertheless China could overtake the United States military within 20 to 30 years and become a threat within 15 to 18 years.
What does China want? China wants reunification with Taiwan and they would like to control the region and some of the military man in China have larger ambitions and believe China should someday rule the world.
It may very well do that in fact.
China also is growing and it wants resources; Oil, Fuel, Raw Materials and well you name it really.
Growing industrialized nations always do.
China is Our Trading Partner Indeed China is our trading partner and we are friends, but we will both be vying for the same resources and raw materials along with other fast movers like India.
China needs us and we value their friendship.
Nevertheless the Treasure Fleet sails again and their military build up is spectacular indeed.
