How to Remove a Gold Wing Fairing
- 1). Park the Goldwing on a level surface and put down the kickstand. Locate the front plastic trim piece next to the fog lights. Push in the panel with your hand and pull the trim piece off the panel. Remove the three screws, one underneath the panel and one on each side, with the Phillips head screwdriver.
- 2). Remove the plastic screw covers above the frame on both sides of the fairing with your hands. Remove the screw underneath with the Phillips head screwdriver.
- 3). Remove the plastic cover just behind the running lights with a flat head screwdriver. Unscrew the screws behind the panel with the Phillips head screwdriver.
- 4). Pull the running light away from the fairing with your hands. Pull the fairing away from the Goldwing with both of your hands.
