How to Wire an E730U
- 1). Open the battery door on the back of your wind gauge to expose the battery ports. Insert the 4 AA batteries into the battery ports.
- 2). Replace the wind gauge's battery door. Place the wind gauge outside on an even platform.
- 3). Connect one end of your serial cable to the input/output port on the lower left side of the wind gauge. Connect the other end of the cable to your personal computer.
- 4). Remove the protective caps from the wind gauge's sensors and turn the on/off switch to the "on" position to begin using the device.
