    AIDS Education and Training National Resource Center

    • The AIDS Education and Training (AETC) National Resource Center grants program offers support grants to AETC's that offer training and educational information to health care professionals working with HIV-infected patients. Eligible activities include the creation of a central location for training and support; developing curriculum; information dissemination; development of a communications plan; the obtaining of needed technical assistance; attendance at national conferences; and the promotion of AETC. The program gives out more than $800,000 per year to eligible AETCs. But actual grant amounts will vary based on needs. The grant is administered by the Health Resources and Services Administration.

    National Resource Center for Youth Development

    • The National Resource Center for Youth Development is administered by the Administration for Children and Families and is open to organizations looking to create a collaboration between their organization and the National Resource Center on Youth Development. This program funds projects that seek to make children safer and improve the overall well-being of children and families. Other supported programs include those that help youth make the transition into adulthood, create life connections, find permanent homes and reduce their dependence on the welfare system. This grant is open to state or local governments, educational institutions, non-profits, faith-based organizations, community groups, small businesses and institutions of higher education.

    National Resource Centers Program

    • The National Resource Centers Program is administered by the United States Department of Education and the goal of this program is to create, expand or run language-study centers that provide modern foreign language instruction. Funds may be used for international studies research, training, learning about foreign regions and instruction/research in world affairs. Funds may not be used for equipment that costs more than ten percent of the grant, for undergraduate travel or to supplant another program. Grant amounts will vary based on program needs.
