Travel & Places Skiing

Go to New Zealand and Enjoy Skiing There!

Now summer is here and hot weather follows.
Where should you go to spend a holiday and enjoy the cool? If you do want to experience the contrast of extreme climate, go to the southern hemisphere which is still in the season of winter.
Go skiing in New Zealand and experience the winter there.
For skiing-lovers, ski resorts in New Zealand are as charming as sacred places.
You can enjoy the pleasure of skiing on high mountains and admire magnificent and gorgeous scenery in New Zealand at the same time.
It is winter now in the southern hemisphere, so snow conditions are quite excellent.
You can even experience the exciting helicopter-ski.
Then, I want to introduce you several popular ski resorts.
The first one is Cardrona.
It is among the few lists of ski resorts that provide accommodation.
For those who are unwilling to drive up the hill every day, this ski field is the best choice.
However, rooms are limited there, so please remember to book rooms in advance.
The vertical height difference of Cardrona ski field is only 390 meters, and 75% of the ski-runs are suitable for primary and intermediate players.
Therefore, it could not be better to enjoy the fun of skiing together with your family here.
However, because of the high elevation, you should prepare some warm clothing and pay attention to weather forecasts.
The second ski resort I want to mention is Treble Cone, which is the largest ski field in New Zealand.
It is about 60-minute way from here to Queenstown.
It covers an area of 500 hectares.
Although the ski slope is relatively high, a lot of intermediate skiing players are fond of this ski field.
And near this ski field are some well-known tourist attractions like Mount Cook and Tekapo Lake.
Finally, I want to introduce Coronet Peak.
It is 18 kilometers from Queenstown.
Because it is much closer to the downtown, it is very crowded.
This ski resort covers 280 hectares, and the longest ski-run is nearly 2 kilometers.
65% of the ski-runs are suitable for primary and intermediate players.
Ski-lovers who like to pursue excitement can also try the natural slope with nearly 30 degrees.
Standing on the top of this peak, you can have a bird's-eye view of Queenstown.
