One way to ensure this is to build your own bunny cage.
You need these supplies to build the pet rabbit cage:
Assemble two bunny cage walls by placing two storage cube side by side, with two storage cubes directly below these.
Make two more bunny cage walls by placing three storage cubes side by side, with another three directly beneath.
Finish each of the four walls you laid out by connecting the storage cubes of each wall together using cable ties.
You should now have two bunny cage walls that are 2 by 2 and two rabbit cage walls that are 3 by 2.
Assemble the bunny cage roof the same way you assembled the 3x2 wall.
Step 2 You may need assistance with this phase of building bunnies cages.
Stand all four walls up so the walls of equal size are opposite of each other, and connect them into a box shape using cable ties.
You should now have a rectangular box shape when all walls are connected.
Place the final 3 by 2 wall on top as a roof for your bunny.
Step 3 Give your rabbit cage a hinged roof by using two spring clamps in place of cable ties on one of the 2 by two walls.
Having a hinged roof will allow you take your bunny in and out of its cage.
You can also give your rabbit the different things it needs through this roof.
If you want a door on the bunny cage, you can replace cable ties on one of the 3 by 2 walls with spring clamps as well.
Step 4 Give the rabbit cage roof extra support by running a dowel through the middle of the roof and tie it in place using the cable ties.
Step 5 You can give your bunny a second story inside the bunny cage by placing two dowel rods inside the cage about 11 inches from the floor.
The first rod should be several inches in from one side of the cage; count over two squares from the same side of the cage and place the second rod.
Use cable ties to keep the rods in place.
Make yourself a plywood shelf that can sit on top of these dowel rods (or simply buy one to the proper size from a hardware store).
It should be the same size as a 2 by 2 wall.
Step 6 You have to decide what kind of flooring you want your bunnies cages to have.
You do not want to use wire flooring, because it will by hard on your bunny's feet.
Some suggestions include dog create tray replacements and, see grass mats.
The see grass mats are nice because your bunny can eat them.
If you are able to litter train your rabbit, you may simply want to use sample carpet squares, old towels, or old blankets.
It is important to understand that rabbits like to chew on their bedding and kick it around inside the bunny cage.
