Graduation Gifts Made With Candy Bars

    Graduate Candy Wrappers

    • Create your own candy bar wrappers, wishing the graduate "congratulations." Measure the size of the candy bar, determining the exact size you need to wrap a piece of paper around the chocolate. Use a photo processing program to add an image of the graduate or a cartoon image of a graduate. Add your special wishes or congratulations on top of the image and print off the design. Trim the paper into strips and wrap those strips around the candy bars. Secure the homemade wrappers to the back of the candy bars with small strips of tape.

    Candy Bar Cap Bouquet

    • Purchase chocolate covered peanut butter cups, chocolate squares and pull apart licorice. Insert a wooden dowel into the bottom of the peanut butter cup, with the smallest side facing up. Use melted chocolate or frosting as a "glue" and place a dab on top of the cup. Press the chocolate square on top and use more frosting to glue a small licorice piece to the top as a tassel. Repeat the process, making multiple caps from the chocolate. Arrange the wooden dowels in a glass vase and present the gift as a special edible graduation bouquet.

    Candy Bar Cake

    • Make a candy bar cake for the graduate by placing a round cake pan on a cake platter. Apply small pieces of adhesive strips to the backs of full-size candy bars. Arrange the candy bars around the cake pan, pressing the adhesive against the pan. Use more adhesive strips to attach a smaller cake pan or tin to the top of the pan. Arrange miniature candy bars around the top tin. Fill in the empty spaces with tissue paper in the graduate's school colors and add a handmade sign saying "congratulations."

    Shaped Chocolate Bars

    • Purchase candy molds in letters that spell congratulations, or look for graduation molds, such as a cap mold. Make your own candy bars from melted chocolate and any toppings the graduate likes, including roasted nuts. Pour the chocolate into the molds and wait for the chocolate to set up before removing the candy. Wrap the homemade shaped candy bars in cellophane paper and tie with a ribbon.
