Airheads: Fun and Fitness in Orlando

If you're looking for a place to tire the kiddies out, Airheads Trampoline Arena is the perfect spot to spend the day. Located at Pineloch Avenue and Orange Avenue in SoDo, the arena offers an indoor trampoline play area, arcade, fitness classes, birthday party space, cafe and more.

Jumping

Airheads allows for unlimited, open jumping and organized games, such as dodgeball, for a daily, weekly or monthly price. The large trampoline is divided by netting, and jumpers are able to jump off the walls of the trampoline area. Grip socks are required and are available for purchase on site. Check the website for updated hours before visiting.

Fun for Little Ones

If you want to bring smaller children to Airheads, don't worry about them being trampled by older kids or adults. The arena offers a play area just for "junior jumpers" that might be intimidated by the older crowd. Additionally, Mommy & Me classes are held every Tuesday for kids 6 and under and a parent. Airheads recommends visiting during the week or right at opening to avoid the crowds.

Safety

Unlike at other entertainment centers in the Orlando area, parents can easily watch children jumping from any of the bleachers or tables located outside the trampoline area. There's no need to constantly follow little ones around, which means mom or dad can relax while the kids play. Safety rules are posted throughout the facility, and "referees" keep a close eye on the jumpers.

Arcade

After they're worn out from jumping, kids and adults will enjoy the large arcade area located inside Airheads. Classic games such as ski ball, air hockey, basketball, spin wheel and car racing are a great way to pass the time. Guests will also find some less common games, including Deal or No Deal and Stinky Feet.

Prizes

Like at other arcades, the games at Airheads give out tickets that can be exchanged for prizes. The prizes offered at Airheads are very similar to those available at other arcades, and greater numbers of tickets can be exchanged for larger, better prizes.

Air Cafe

After working up an appetite on the trampoline, head to the Air Cafe for a wrap, sandwich, burger, salad or slice of pizza. You'll also find party platters, a decent kids' menu, and favorite party foods, such as pretzels, popcorn and ice cream. The prices are reasonable, and there's a large dining area that can accommodate groups of all sizes.

Birthday Parties

Airheads offers several birthday party packages that are a hit with all ages, including adults. All packages include unlimited jumping, pizza and unlimited soft drinks; the price depends on the number of jumpers. Add-ons include goody bags, souvenir cups, balloons and other fun stuff, and a professional birthday party planner is available, if desired.

Fitness Classes

"TrampoLean Fitness" is easy on the joints and is perfect for all fitness levels. Whether you're interested in burning calories, or you want to improve your overall fitness level, Airheads offers single classes and weekly or monthly membership rates. Try AIRobics, Zumba, or strength and conditioning classes.
