The riotous comedienne will make a stop at Houston's Verizon Wireless Theater during her "Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me" tour. Her 2010 tour drew over 250,000 fans and ended with a profit over $16 million. Show begins at 8 p.m.

Miller Outdoor Theater: Houston's Juneteenth Celebration

Celebrate the mark of the abolition of slavery in Texas at Miller Outdoor Theater. This year, Corey Ledet and his Zydeco Band as well as Glen David Andrews will provide the soundtrack for the evening. Andrews' music has been featured on HBO's "Treme" series as well as Spike Lee's documentary, "When the Levees Broke". This event begins at 7 p.m. and is free to the public.
