Tylenol.com states that this product does not cause stomach problems like ibuprofen and aspirin might. Also, you can take it in conjunction with high blood pressure medications if need be, with your doctor's permission.
- Tylenol Arthritis Pain is available in two forms: caplets and gel tabs. The only active ingredient in Tylenol is acetaminophen, which helps reduce fever and relieve pain, such as that of arthritis. According to Tylenol.com, Tylenol Arthritis Pain contains 650 mg of acetaminophen in each pill. Inactive ingredients, such as carnauba wax and cornstarch, help keep the pill in its form.
- Tylenol.com recommends that you take two Tylenol Arthritis Pain pills every eight hours as needed. Take Tylenol whole with water. Do not crush or chew the pills. If you are taking the gel tabs, swallow one at a time. Do not exceed six pills in 24 hours, and do not take for longer than 10 days unless a doctor recommends otherwise.
- According to drugs.com, Tylenol Arthritis Pain may cause allergic reactions. Symptoms include difficulty breathing, hives, itching, rash, swelling, and a tight feeling in the chest. Other side effects include extreme fatigue and yellowing of the eyes and skin. Symptoms of an overdose of Tylenol include vomiting, nausea, dark urine, unusual fatigue, stomach pain, and excessive sweating.

A blood thinner called Warfarin may interact with Tylenol, so check with your physician before taking the two medications together.
