Pimples - To Pop Or Not to Pop

Of all parts of our body, it is hard to imagine why Mother Nature has made the face to be most prone to pimples.
The face is the most visible part of the body, plain for the world to see.
If you have huge red pimples on your face, even the best makeup article will have trouble hiding it from view.
Let's face it pimples and acne have lots of psychological and emotional effects on us.
Acne makes us feel self-conscious and lower our self esteems.
Because of that, it makes a lot of sense to keep acne at bay.
When a pimple pops up, there is this natural urge to pop it.
So should you? The answer is a big 'NO'.
Do you know what is worse that a face full of pimples? A face with lots of pimples and lots of scars.
Unlike acne, scars are going to be permanent features on your face where you will have to live with them for the rest of your life.
So keep this in mind when you feel like popping another pimple.
Besides leaving big and ugly scars on your face, popping pimples will also encourage the growth of new pimples.
This will perpetuate the vicious cycles of acne and scars.
Believe it or not, there is something that you can do to prevent your acne from 'ripening'.
When you feel that a pimple is forming at its early stage (where it is still a bump), apply acne cream vigorously on it for at least 3 times a day.
This will cause the pimple to subside very quickly, without developing any visible puss.
