A Small Note On The Cmat Test Paper & Mode Of Preparation

Common Management Admission Test or CMAT is conducted by the AICTE for granting admission to the examinees in the MBA colleges affiliated by AICTE. Graduates from any background with a degree comprising at least three years or the graduation students of the final year can write the test. CMAT Feb 2013 is over though the September part is due in a few days. A student from the general has to score at least 50% in the graduation in order to be eligible to write CMAT. The minimum score is lower (45%) for a candidate belonging from the reserved quotas like SC, ST, OBC and others. The candidates willing to join PGDM, PGCM, or Executive MBA courses can write the exam. Whatever may be the area of preference, a person must enquire about the eligibility standard before initiating the preparation. For instance, a person willing to apply for an executive MBA degree must possess at least five years work experience. CMAT is a relatively new addition in the area of MBA entrance exams in India. It is often seen that due to the similarity in the subjects needed to study for writing CAT, people go for many MBA entrance exams including CMAT.There are four sections in the test that an examiner has to cover- quantitative aptitude, reasoning, language and general knowledge. There are twenty five questions allotted for each section with the time period of total three hours. Since the provision of negative marking is there, a student must not go for the wild guessing option since it will harm the total score. Four marks are allotted for each right answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. There is a trial CMAT test paper option provided in the AITCE website before some days of the examination. Another test paper was available in the same location some days before the CMAT FEB 2013. The students should examine this page carefully along with writing the test to understand the additional details in a properly organized method. Since it is a computer adaptive test, having required ease in operating PC is an integrated factor that should be associated with the CMAT preparation along with studies. The aspirants must follow a disciplined approach at the time of preparation in order to achieve the target. The seat allotment is completely dependent on the CMAT score. Therefore, achieving a grand CMAT score should be the target. If a student puts regular hours for learning the techniques of the Mathematical section, it will not be a difficult task to get high score in the quaint section of CMAT test paper. Reasoning problems can be handled through the regular practicing. A person should learn the fundamentals of grammar very well before going for the grammatical problem solving. Reading every day newspaper along with some other good reading material is necessary for increasing the comprehension speed and vocabulary. A person must keep an eye on the current affairs along with consulting different GK books to fare well in this section.
