How Do I Install a Hitch on a 2008 Jeep Wrangler?

1). Locate the mounting holes in the rear section of the frame rails. These existing holes are used to mount a hitch to the Jeep's frame.
2). Place the hitch into position underneath the frame of the Jeep. Having someone to help hold the hitch onto the frame will make the job go more smoothly.
3). Insert the bolts through the hitch and into the frame rail. Install the reinforcement supports supplied with the hitch on the end of the bolts before threading the nut onto the bolt. These plates act as a large washer to support the weight of the trailer. Tighten the bolts with a ratchet and socket. There should be a total of four bolts, two on each frame rail.
4). Place the draw-bar assembly into the hitch and mount the trailer ball onto the draw-bar.
