Top 20 Careers That Pay Over $100,000 a Year



The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reports annually on the highest paying careers. Each of the occupations on the list pays at least the salary listed (median salary) and all of the top 20 jobs on the list pay over $100,000 a year.

Leading the least of the jobs that pay the most are medical and health related positions. Other careers which pay well include engineering, management and information technology occupations.

Here are the top 20 highest paying careers (2012 report from the BLS):
