FREE Concerts at the Dix Hills Performing Arts Center, Five Towns College - 2013
There is always a wealth of great concert going on at the Dix Hills Performing Arts Center at Five Towns College, but for most of them, you will have to buy a ticket. However, there are always a few musical performances that are absolutely free. This year, 2013, DHPAC present three live concerts with Dean Karahalis and the FTC Concert Pops. They regularly perform a number of free public concerts with the financial support of Friends of the Pops, as well as corporate sponsors, ranging from the Astoria Federal Savings Bank, the State Bank of Long Island, the Roslyn Savings Bank, Chase, Citibank, Conn-Selmer, Inc., and other generous donors.
IF you wish to help support the orchestra's free musical performances, you can become a Friend of the Pops by going to the appropriate page on their website at www.deankarahalis.com/friends-of-the-pops, downloading and printing the form and sending in a donation. For every $100 in donations, Friends of the Pops will receive one free ticket to all events.

Dean Karahalis and the FTC Concert Pops Orchestra is a professional, local Long Island, NY concert band and orchestra. Among its members are musicians who have regularly performed on Broadway and also with the Metropolitan Opera in Manhattan. They perform music ranging from popular Broadway tunes to the classics and much more.They regularly perform a number of free public concerts with the financial support of Friends of the Pops, as well as corporate sponsors, ranging from the Astoria Federal Savings Bank, the State Bank of Long Island, the Roslyn Savings Bank, Chase, Citibank, Conn-Selmer, Inc., and other generous donors.
