Duravit Happy D Toilet Specifications

    • Duravit was established in 1817 by George Fredrick Horn as an earthenware factory. In 1842, Duravit diversified into sanitary products. Since then, Duravit has become one of the most popular sanitary ware brands in the world. With Duravit offices and distributorships all over the world, the company's sanitary products are used in many major airports, hotels and museums across the planet.

In the late 1990s, Duravit introduced the "Happy D" bathroom series, an award-winning line of bathroom fixtures designed by Sieger Design. All items in this range somewhat resemble the letter D. The Happy D line has become increasingly popular due to its affordability and no-nonsense functionality.

    Weight

    • The toilet weighs 24 kg (52.8 lbs). The optional cistern weighs 3 kg (6.6 lbs).

    Dimensions

    • The toilet dimensions are 360 by 650 mm (14.2 by 25.6 inches) and 370 by 175 mm (14.6 by 6.8 inches) for the optional cistern.

    Features

    • The Happy D is a floor-standing toilet with a soft toilet seat that is a tad longer than most models. It is a standard siphon wash (wash down) toilet with all the fixings (including S/S hinges) attached. It comes with two preset flush settings: one for liquid waste and the other for solid waste. This helps save a lot of water. The flush is controlled by a sleek chrome-colored push button. The cistern and the flexible hose connector are optional. Like all other Duravit products, this too comes with a 5-year guarantee.
