Is Peace on Earth Realistically Attainable?
My father in law used to say, if there is no war, there will be no peace.
In order to achieve mutual understanding between two parties, arguments, fighting and even wars have to take part if peace were to find its existence on this planet earth.
First of all, let us refer to the bible, provided each of us has read the bible.
Have a look at Adam's sons.
His sons killed each other as they failed to their anger.
This was the sign of how men would behave as human population increases.
History will always repeat itself until the end of time as we create history that refuse to nail it in our memory.
Why did they choose to murder each other? Ladies and gentlemen, please have a look at ourselves.
Look carefully at our ego.
How much ego do we have? Is it too much? Do we ever realize that we have too much ego in ourselves? The existence of ego breeds war.
Who gave us ego? God gave us ego.
Do we need this ego? We need it but at certain degrees.
However, do we realize that our leaders have excessive ego? Who chose these leaders? We chose them.
Another thing that God gave us that we continuously fail to control, which is our anger.
Our anger is like a fire which is kept in a box of gasoline which is highly explosive.
To make things worse, a group of demons are sent regularly from hell to earth to ignite this fire.
As human beings are completely vulnerable, some express anger through war.
Lust is one of the strongest elements that God gave us.
The existence of lust is actually to fuel our desire to achieve success in life.
Sadly, lust has been wrongly interpreted and abused for one man's satisfaction.
Have a look at the world today and yesterday, particularly the ongoing wars? Is it not due to excessive lust? Ask yourself.
In conclusion, God has given us three strong elements in us which are anger and lust which are controllable provided Satan doesn't exist on planet earth.
Unfortunately, the number of demons is beyond imagination that some men are defeated.
When men lose their control, war will definitely occur and it never stops because war is infectious because men's anger can last forever.
The only thing that can save us is the light of God that controls anger and lust only if we believe in the existence of heaven and hell.
