- 1). Unplug the dryer from the wall outlet.
- 2). Remove the lint screen from the top of the cabinet, if the lint screen is on the top of the dryer.
- 3). Remove the two screws from the lint screen opening on the top of the dryer.
- 4). Insert a putty knife on the left and right sides of the gap between the front panel and main top to disengage the spring clips. Rotate the top up.
- 5). Disconnect the door switch wire harness, located in the right side of the front panel.
- 6). Remove the two screws on the top-inside of the front panel.
- 7). Lift the front panel up and and off of the dryer.
