How to Install the Water Ionizer to a Cold Water Line

    • 1). Remove all items in the sink base cabinet and clear out the countertop around the sink. Place the towel underneath the sink to protect the base of the cabinet.

    • 2). Turn off the cold water valve underneath the sink.

    • 3). Use the wrench to remove the cold water supply line leading to the sink. Some water will drip out of the water line even after the valve has been closed.

    • 4). Apply a thin bead of pipe-thread compound to the threading on the T-adapter. Secure the loose end of the cold water supply line to the T-adapter. Use the wrench to tighten the water supply in place.

    • 5). Remove the fastener from the smallest outlet on the T-adapter using the wrench. Push the 1/4-inch water supply hose into the T-adapter and secure it in place with the wrench.

    • 6). Connect a new water supply hose to the remaining opening on the T-adapter. Place the other end of the water supply hose to the sink faucet and secure it in place with the wrench.

    • 7). Pull the 1/4-inch water supply hose through the counter, either by removing a soap dispenser or by drilling a hole in the sink. Push the hose into the "Inflow" port on the water ionizer. Snap the enclosed clamp in place to secure the hose to the ionizer.

    • 8). Place the water dispenser hose into the "Outflow" port and secure it with the enclosed clamp. Turn on the water supply valve under the sink. Follow the manufacturer's directions to turn on and use the water ionizer.
