How to Turn Off an RV Fridge

    • 1). Turn off the refrigerator at the control panel. In most RV refrigerator models this will be located at the top of the fridge.

    • 2). Turn off the two power supplies: the 110-volt AC power supply and the 12-volt DC power supply. On the RV breaker box, which can be located in different places in different RVs, such as under the fridge or sometimes in the back bedroom, turn off the breaker that controls the refrigerator (110-volt AC power) and the refrigerator fuse (12-volt DC power.) The refrigerator will not work on propane without DC battery power.

    • 3). Turn off the main propane valve.
