Rental Houses

• 1). Navigate to the Rental Houses website (see Resources) and click on a rental city in North Carolina. The rental cities are on the top of the page under resources. Click on the specific city you are interested in to display more detailed information.
  
  
• 2). Search by counties if you would like. The county selection is on the bottom of the website. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the specific county to display more detailed information.
  
  
• 3). Search "Rent to Own," "Find a Property Manager," or "Find Foreclosures" if you are interested in these options. These links are towards the top of the page. Click on the specific link for more information.
  
  

Craigslist

• 1). Navigate to Craigslist and click on your city of interest in under "North Carolina."
  
  
• 2). Select "apts / housing" under the "housing" section.
  
  
• 3). Enter in your desired minimum and maximum rent you are looking for in the "rent:" boxes. Select the number of bedrooms you're searching for. Select whether you are looking for places of rent that accept pets by clicking the corresponding boxes next to "cats" and "dogs." Click the "image" box to search for listings that have photos.
  
  
• 4). Click "Search" to look for your desired home rental in North Carolina.
  
  

Rental Homes Plus

• 1). Navigate to the Rental Homes Plus website (see Resources). Select the North Carolina county you're interested in by clicking the corresponding box next to the county.
  
  
• 2). Select to continue to the home listings page.
  
  
• 3). Choose the specific city you are interested in by clicking on the name of the city towards the bottom of the rentalhomesplus page. This will forward you to specific city listings.
