How to Obtain an Eastern European Passport
- 1). Decide which Eastern European country's passport you will apply for, and contact that country's embassy or consulate in your home country for information on the application process, waiting time, required documents, fees and where to submit the application. The embassy staff may only speak their native language so if necessary, have a native speaker help you.
- 2). Prepare the required multiple copies of documents and fees, fill out all application forms very carefully and to the exact specifications of the embassy, and practice for the interview if there will be one administered. Often, these interviews will be conducted in the country's native language.
- 3). Travel to the embassy to submit the application package and to have your interview. Bring a native speaker along if you are not comfortable communicating in the language.
In some cases, you may be able to submit your application by post.
