- 1). Import the audio track. If you created the track on a stand-alone audio device, connect that device to your computer if it has a USB interface and import the file into an audio program. Save it as a computer audio file such as WAV or MP3.
- 2). Play the file on several computers. Windows Media Player will play most audio file types. Copy the track to a CD or portable device and test it on each of several computers.
- 3). Convert the file to the correct format. If your application requires the audio to be in a specific format, convert it to that format in an audio editing program or in a software converter. After converting, play it again on several computers to hear how it sounds.
