Dodge Challenger Light Switch Removal

    • 1). Disconnect the negative terminal of the car's battery and let the car sit for 30 minutes to drain any remaining power.

    • 2). Inspect the dash or steering column, depending on what year Challenger you own, and look for the retaining screw holding the light switch in place.

    • 3). Remove the screws from the dash or steering column and pull off the plastic retainer to expose the switch.

    • 4). Slowly pull out the switch to access the connecting wires. Disconnect the wires. Use a wire clip to secure them from falling into the dash or steering column as they will be very difficult to retrieve.

    • 5). Remove the switch from the case by pushing in the button on the case to release the switch.
