Video: How to Have a Marriage Seminar
Video Transcript
Hi, I'm Sally Landau. I'm a relationship coach in Los Angeles. And my company is Dating Can Be Fun. The question is, how do I have a marriage seminar? I wish this question were really easy to answer. I wish I had a pat answer and a solution for you. It's not that easy. You may be in a marriage that's very successful. You've a relationship with your spouse that's the envy of the community. But just because you two have learned to work it out between yourselves doesn't necessarily mean that you are going to be a fantastic seminar leader, or that you even know how to coach people. Now you could start out a very small group of people, ah it's probably possible that you have friends who've said oh I wish you could teach us what you are doing. And start having events in your home. Maybe question answer. Maybe it's just a, maybe it's a lecture. You could decide what works best and through this experience you'll find what works and what doesn't work. But does that make for a great seminar, and perhaps a budding business? I don't know. If you really want to be a successful seminar leader you have to figure out how to get people to your room not just a group of friends. You have to get people, you have to attract your audience. You have to develop a really compelling program and give exercises and meaningful lessons so that people can take with them inspiration for their lives. And if it's a business well then that means you want to make money at it. The fact is there are people out there I could recommend, you could contact me, I could recommend coaches that are amazing at building seminars. They teach you how to attract people. How to develop your program and how to make money at it. Just doing it quickly, saying it's going to be a business maybe not that easy. I know myself I've been to a lot of seminars, some haven't been that good. Some have been inspiring and some have changed my life. I'm Sally Landau. I'm your relationship coach and my company is Dating Can be Fun.
