- 3). Install a mandrel bent high-flow cat-back exhaust. Per Jumptronix.com, a mandrel bent exhaust allows for less restriction for escaping gases, which will help increase overall horsepower in your vehicle.
- 4). Reduce the overall weight of the vehicle. It's common to reduce weight by replacing cast-iron flywheels with lighter aluminum flywheels. You can also reduce weight by upgrading from a cast suspension to lighter weight aluminum suspension.
- 5). Tune your computer. Although each automotive computer tuner allows you to control different items, most will allow you to tune the air/fuel mixture, shift points and rev limits. When adding aftermarket horsepower, a computer tuner is a must to get the most from your performance
