The book "Secrets of Self-Healing" by Dr.
Maoshing Ni describes several hundred natural remedies to address common health problems.
The approaches are based on the philosophy that we all have built in healing ability waiting to be activated by natural means before we resort to drugs or invasive procedures.
Eastern and Western medicine work together to support the assertion that well-being is the results of a balanced life and not just a healthy body.
