Holland America's Oosterdam is the second of five Vista class vessels to join the HAL fleet. She is the sister to the Zuiderdam, which was launched in 2002.
On board, l,848 pampered guests will enjoy unsurpassed space per person ratio by any other ship in the HAL fleet, whose ships are already known for their stylish, spacious comfort. The Oosterdam will also have more outside staterooms with ocean views and private verandahs.

For those looking for more convenience, the Oosterdam includes Internet/E-mail data ports in every stateroom, expanded spa facilities, and three sparkling pools.

The Oosterdam also features a new stateroom category - Deluxe Verandah Outside - which represents HAL's best value in verandah staterooms. The Oosterdam offers 461 of these staterooms, featuring verandahs approximately twice the size of the regular verandahs for the category. A concierge lounge will be for the exclusive use of Penthouse and Deluxe Verandah Suite guests.
