How to Install a Strut Tower Brace on a Mustang

1). Position the strut tower brace over the engine and align the holes by the top center of the firewall. These holes are pre-drilled for the strut tower brace which was optional on all Mustangs.
2). Slide the bolts, supplied with the brace, into the holes by the firewall. Do not tighten them at this point.
3). Align and insert the three bolts in the passenger's side, brace-to-strut tower holes. There is one vertical bolt and two horizontal bolts. Do not tighten the bolts.
4). Insert the three driver's side, strut tower brace bolts (two on top and one horizontal) and tighten them securely with the appropriate socket. Continue to tighten all the bolts securely with the same socket.
