3 Metabolism Boosting Exercises You Can Do To Shed Fat Fast
If your goal is to lose weight, do you know which exercises will help you reach your targeted weight the fastest? Forget jogging on a treadmill! Use these 3 exercises to melt the fat off your body in record time.
Before you start any of these exercises, you must know that the most important thing when doing them is intensity. The more intense your workout, the more your metabolism will increase over the next couple days, and permanently.
Dead Lifts
This is a weight lifting exercise that works almost your whole body. To do it, put a barbell on the ground in front of you. Then bend your legs and squat down to grasp the bar with your hands. Next, use your legs to stand up (don't lock your legs at the top!) Keep your arms straight the whole time, and lower the weight back down. Easy!
Dead lifts are very easy to do, but you must make sure you have the right form. Practice is key here. They target your legs mostly, which is the largest muscle mass on your body. The heavier you go the more your metabolism will increase and the easier it will be to burn fat.
Treadmill Sprints
Can't stand to get away from your treadmill? Instead of just jogging on it, start doing this exercise. When you first start out, jog for a few minutes to get your body warmed up. When you're all warmed up crank the speed up as high as you are comfortable with and run hard for a minute or so. Then bring the speed back down to a jog.
Do this every couple minutes, sprint for a minute, jog for 2 minutes. This will be much more intense and will give your muscles a much greater workout (you'll even feel it in your upper body!) Exchange this exercise for your normal jogging routine and your body will shed fat faster.
