    Washing Machine Won't Fill with Water

    • 1). Check to see that your washing machine's control knobs are set properly.

    • 2). Ensure both the cold and hot water outlets are turned on and properly connected to the rear of the washing machine.

    • 3). Make sure the lid or door of your washing machine is properly closed.

    Washing Machine Won't Agitate

    • 1). Ensure that the power cord is fully plugged into the electrical outlet.

    • 2). Ensure that the cycle selector knob is not set to the "off" position.

    • 3). Press and hold in the "start" button for at least two seconds to properly start the wash cycle.

    • 4). Check the fuse or circuit breaker that provides power to your machine for possible problems.

    Washing Machine Won't Spin or Tumble Clothes

    • 1). Verify the motor overload protector hasn't been activated by waiting five minutes before trying to start your washer's spin cycle again.

    • 2). Ensure the lid is securely closed prior to the start of the clothes spin cycle.

    • 3). Sort clothes in the washing machine so that the weight of the clothes is evenly distributed.

    Washing Machine Won't Drain

    • 1). Ensure that the drain hose running from the washing machine isn't kinked or clogged.

    • 2). Ensure the drain receptacle is not clogged.

    • 3). Refer to the installation instructions to ensure that your machine has been set up properly.
