Support Our Troops - How to Gather Their Favorite Foods
Whether we agree with current foreign policy or not, our military troops need our support and kindness.
After all, they are in harms way as they represent and defend freedom.
Imagine being thousands of miles away from loved ones, in a foreign country with no familiar surroundings.
What would be on your list of "boy I sure miss" foods for a care package from home? Below is a list our troops need and/or request the most.
Sending troops a care package lifts morale and lets them know of our support for our troops.
How do you gather these items?A fun way is for communities, schools, church groups, etc.

List the food items below and assign points values to the ones most difficult to obtain, or most wanted.
Turn your teams loose, with prizes awarded at the end.
Get local businesses to host different teams as a means of showing Their Support.
Accept donations for shipping costs.
Or send food care packages to our troops as a family or small group of friends -- just use this list as a guide.

No Chocolate (April-Sept) - it will melt!
