How to Dress Up an Old Black Dress With a Scarf
- 1). Wear the scarf sarong-style around your waist to add a decorative layer to your dress. Tie the scarf in a knot on one side of your hips, then pull it down to drape it over the dress.
- 2). Wrap the scarf around your shoulders to add color to the top of your dress. Drape it over your shoulders from the front and let the scarf ends hang down over your back, or wrap it around your shoulders two or three times and tie it in the back.
