How to Drain a Ford Gas Tank
- 1). Park the Ford in an area where there are no flames that has good air flow and turn the
motor off. - 2). Position a gas container on the ground directly beneath the opening to the gas tank approximately 18 inches from the vehicle.
- 3). Insert the siphon into the fuel tank as if you were fueling the vehicle. Place the other end of the siphon in the gas container and let all of the gas flow out of the vehicle.
