Building Muscle Fast!
The following article is about what 99.
9% of people do WRONG when they are trying to gain muscle! These are six things you should be doing if you want to build muscle fast: 1) Eat right.
Most people eat crappy foods after they workout, not realizing this is not only not helping, but making it worse! Having food that is home made, preferably organic, and loaded with the RIGHT nutrients is essential after a workout.
Around 20-30 grams of protein, some carbs, and a little bit of HEALTHY fat is what you need.
2) Don't over work out.
Going to the gym for three hours at a time and lifting the heaviest you can lift for as many times as you can lift, is going to put too much strain on your body, and you won't be able to repair it in time.
3) Eat at the proper time.
The first hour after you have worked out is when your body is most primed and ready to have nutrients put in to it, so you will be getting the full effect around that time.
Preferably 15 or so minutes after is when you should get your healthy meal that is full of proteins, some carbs, and some fat as well.
4) Not drinking enough water.
Your body gets dehydrated VERY easily.
Drinking 16 ounces of water immediately after your workout is essential! Your body is very tired and thirsty at this point, and drinking a decent amount of water is the best thing for you.
5) Sorry, but put your supplements down.
Alright, there are guys out there who swear by their supplements, but honestly, they MAYBE, at best, 1/10th of what they're supposed to do.
They're basically ineffective.
Eating properly will be MORE than enough to gain muscle mass.
6) Alright buddy, sure you like your red meat, but there's better options out there.
Guys wanting to gain muscle mass are FAMOUS for eating a steak or some other red meat to gain that muscle, but what they don't realize is that there is a much better option, that's much healthier: Fish.
Now, before you go crazy on me, studies have shown that fish protein is known to take longer to digest, thus lasting longer and giving you more results.
Fish is PACKED with protein and healthy fats.
It's what humans are meant to live on for their meat.
